Tutoring Services

This agency provides education services in Los Angeles County. Services include an after-school tutoring program for youth ages 6 to 18 and volunteer opportunities for adults in the areas currently serving LAUSD schools. Geographic restrictions apply. 

During the school year, the agency offers free after-school tutoring for students ages 6 to 18. Tutor services include homework help, reading, and writing with trained volunteers. Services are offered Monday through Thursday after school. Students and their parent or guardian must first attend a mandatory orientation in order to receive services. 

Volunteer opportunities are available and may include tutoring, conducting creative writing workshops, and/or assisting with yearly book projects. Tutors must attend a mandatory two hour orientation and agree to submit to a background check.
