Child Abuse Prevention (Court Ordered Individuals)

Parenting education is provided for court-ordered and voluntary individuals. A 12-week program and a more intensive, 52-week program are available. The 52-week program targets parents who have been found guilty of child abuse. Staff will provide progress reports to the court if necessary.
Child abuse prevention is available for court ordered individuals. The program teaches non-offending parents and caregivers how to avoid potentially abusive situations and how to recognize the signs of abuse.

Fees are set on a sliding scale. There are no fees for participants whom the court has declared indigent or who fall under the Victims of Crime program.
Fees for parenting education are set on a sliding scale that generally ranges from $35 per session.
