Planning/Coordinating/Advisory Groups (Child Care Issues)

Provider: LOS ANGELES COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH - OFFICE FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION

The program provides administrative services for child care programs in Los Angeles County, including planning, evaluation and implementation support. Services include administrative entities and planning/coordinating/advisory groups. There are no geographic restrictions. 

Workforce Pathways LA provides support for child care providers related to licensing/health and safety and workforce systems improvement; stipends for ongoing education or licensing may be available.

The Policy Roundtable for Child Care and Development is a Board of Supervisors appointed body with a mission to build and strengthen early care and education by providing recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on policy, systems and infrastructure improvement. 

The Child Care Planning Committee works with parents, providers, community, and public agencies in collaborative planning efforts to improve the overall child care infrastructure of the County of Los Angeles, including the quality and continuity, affordability, and accessibility of child care and development services for all families.
