Disability Related Transportation
Provider: CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - MISSION CITY TRANSIT DIAL-A-RIDE
The program provides curb-to-curb public transportation for people who live or work in the city of San Fernando. Services include disability related transportation, general paratransit/community ride programs and medical appointments transportation. Services are restricted to San Fernando residents.
Two vans, which are lift-equipped, pick up passengers at any location in the city and transport them to other locations in the city or to certain nearby medical facilities including Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, Indian Hills Medical Center in Mission Hills, Kaiser Hospital in Panorama City, Olive View Medical Center in Sylmar, and the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Sepulveda. The program serves people of all ages, but young children may be required to be accompanied by an adult.
