Ex-Offender Halfway Houses

The program provides ex-offender services for women on parole in Los Angeles County, including women who use alcohol or drugs. Service includes a halfway house for women currently on parole. The maximum length of stay is six months. There are no geographic restrictions.

The program can accommodate up to 12 women. Bedding, linen, shower and laundry facilities and three meals per day are provided. Residents are required to look for a job or be in job training; attend substance abuse meetings (if applicable); attend weekly meetings with a case manager; and abide by all house rules. The program will also help participants obtain a GED as well as learn new skills and improve self-esteem by attending house meetings, program nights and counseling.
