WIOA Programs (Adults)
Provider: LOS ANGELES PIERCE COLLEGE
The program provides classroom WIOA job training for adults, age 18 and older who live in the County areas of Los Angeles. Students may enter the programs throughout the semester. Training consists of a minimum of 240 hours of instruction. Vocational programs include Animal Caretaker, Automotive Technology, Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Healthcare, and Office Administration. Support services include books, supplies and transportation costs; job placement is also provided upon completion of course work.
The Workforce Development program also provides contract education for WorkSource Centers; specifically through partnership with Build Rehabilitation and TTI - Canoga Park (see the separate entries). The college also can provide customized training for employers who need specific training for employees.
