Neighborhood Watch Programs
Provider: CITY OF CLAREMONT POLICE DEPARTMENT
The department provides law enforcement services for the city of Claremont. Services include abandoned vehicle reporting, adult fingerprinting, crime prevention, emergency protective orders, law enforcement complaints, municipal police, neighborhood watch programs, police reports and temporary restraining orders services. The service area is restricted to city of Claremont.
Temporary restraining order assistance is provided on a short term (72 hours), emergency basis only. Regular TROs must be applied for at a Superior Court location.
Fingerprinting is available for adult employment and citizenship/immigration identification and background checks.
The department provides crime prevention programs that include a juvenile bureau which provides juvenile diversion counseling and staff who coordinate Neighborhood Watch programs for Claremont residents.
The department also provides public safety services.
