This is a health advocacy organization for Los Angeles County; there are no direct public services. Services include community action/social advocacy groups, community organizing assistance, planning/coordinating/advisory groups, research, and system advocacy. There are no geographic restrictions.
The council is made up of several smaller community-based councils which focus on the needs within a specific geographic area or community. It provides community organizing assistance, system advocacy and technical assistance and research in the area of health care issues.
