At Risk Youth Employment Programs
Provider: EL PROYECTO DEL BARRIO - WINNETKA CENTER FOR A HEALTHY COMMUNITY
The agency provides youth services to at risk youth ages 14 to 21 in the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys. Services include at risk youth employment programs, computer and related technology classes and GED instruction. There some income requirements; there are no geographic restrictions.
At risk youth employment programs include job skills training, on-the job training, job placement, resume assistance, interview preparation, financial literacy and labor market information. Youth also have access to the WIOA Program when ready.
Computer and related technology classes are provided in a classroom setting and are available to all youth who are in need of such services.
GED instruction is provided in a classroom setting and prepares youth to take the GED exam.
