Graffiti Removal

This is the government office for the city of Long Beach. Services include ADA accessibility compliance, election information, graffiti removal, city information lines, business licensing, building and occupancy inspections, law enforcement complaints, neighborhood watch programs, permits, parking citations, city maintenance, civil service employment, trash service, utilities connection, water pollution control, and planning and zoning. Geographic restrictions apply for some services; business-related services are provided only for businesses located in Long Beach.

The city provides building permits, electrical permits, elevator permits, mechanical permits and plumbing permits for any contracted work done within city limits.

City maintenance includes street maintenance, street construction/repair, street lighting maintenance and street cleaning. The city manager's office sponsors a Neighbohood Nuisance Abatement program that provides referrals to responding city departments. Residents may call the designated number to report gang-related activities, crime-ridden properties, homeless encampments and other neighborhood nuisances.
