Speech Therapy

The program provides services for people with developmental disabilities ages 18 months to 5 years who live in Los Angeles County. Services include early intervention for children with disabilities/delays, occupational therapy and speech therapy. There are no geographic restrictions.

The program offers services for children age 18 months to 5 years with developmental disabilities, as well as for typically developing children. Disabilities may include cerebral palsy, autism, sensory integrative dysfunction, visual-motor or auditory perception problems, various learning disorders, delays or disabilities in gross or fine motor development, speech and language disorders or delays, Down's Syndrome and mental retardation resulting from various neurological disorders or syndromes. Classes may include parent participation if desired. Services include a special early intervention program with occupational and speech/language therapy and sensory integration help. The program also provides cognitive and social/emotional development. The program meets 3 days per week for 3 hours a day.
