Services include disability related transportation, general paratransit/community ride program that services Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, local bus services and senior ride program for the elderly. Local Transit buses operate on fixed routes in Palmdale, Lake Los Angeles, Lancaster, Quartz Hill and Little Rock . The agency provides a designated telephone number for route and schedule information and transportation services information.
Commuter buses carry people via three separate routes to Los Angeles, West Los Angeles,and the San Fernando Valley.
Dial-A-Ride services are provided for the general public who live in rural areas; for older adults, age 65 and older; and for people who have disabilities. Dial-A-Ride services are available seven days per week in urban areas. The service area is divided into three zones, the Urban Zone, Rural Zone 1 and Rural Zone 2. Group rates apply to 3 or more individuals traveling to the same destination.
