Provider: LOS ANGELES ZOO AND BOTANICAL GARDENS
The zoo provides exhibits of over 1,400 mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles and fish representing more than 270 different species of which more than 60 are endangered or critically endangered. In addition the zoo's botanical collection consists of several planted gardens and over 800 different plant species with over 7,400 individual plants. There are no geographic restrictions.
The zoo has numerous displays and exhibits, interactive animal experiences, a children's zoo area; demonstrations; conservation displays; gardens; a gift shop; docent-led and self guided tours; and food establishments.

Online services are available Monday through Sunday, 24 hours per day. Zoo hours are Monday through Sunday, 10:00am to 5:00pm; ticket sales stop at 4:00pm. Closed on Christmas Day.
