Juvenile Delinquency Diversion Counseling

This agency provides law enforcement services for residents of the city of Hawthorne. Services include abandoned vehicle reporting, citizen police academies for adolescents, crime prevention, emergency protective orders, juvenile delinquency diversion counseling, law enforcement complaints, municipal police, and temporary restraining orders services. The service area is restricted to the city of Hawthorne.
Temporary restraining order assistance is provided on a short term (72 hrs.), emergency basis only. Regular TROs must be applied for at Superior Court location.
The department also offers a juvenile diversion counseling program for first offenders, an explorer scout program for youth age 16 to 18 who are interested in law enforcement.
