Neighborhood Watch Programs

The department provides law enforcement services for the residents of the city of Lancaster. Services include community crime prevention programs, disaster preparedness information, municipal police, and neighborhood watch programs. Services are restricted to the city of Lancaster.
The department works in partnership with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department - Lancaster Station; it does not provide general crime response services or police reporting services. Crime within the city of Lancaster should be reported to 911 or the Lancaster Sheriff's Station.
Community crime prevention programs include Neighborhood Watch, Business Watch, Safer Shopping, and Ready Lancaster.
