Political Action/Lobbying Groups

This is a civil rights organization whose purpose is to promote feminist advocacy and to enhance women's participation in the mainstream of American society with full privileges and responsibilities, free of discrimination. This office administers the operation of the organization's activities statewide; coordinates with the numerous local chapters to provide legislative advocacy, community awareness and events; organizes an annual state conference; and publishes an annual newsletter about NOW.

The agency can provide phone and in-person information and referral regarding NOW and issues which affect women, and can refer people to local chapters and activities. People of all ages and both sexes are welcome.
