Organizational Development and Management Services

The agency provides mental health services primarily for American Indian and Native Alaskan people of all ages who live in Los Angeles County. Services include general counseling services, individual counseling, in person crisis intervention, mental health evaluation, organizational development and management services, outpatient mental health facilities, psychiatric case management, psychiatric disorder counseling, specialized information and referral and veteran reintegration counseling. There are no geographic restrictions.

Services include evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and case management for severely and chronically mentally ill adults, including those who are homeless; phone and in-person crisis intervention for people who are experiencing psychiatric emergencies. The center also provides adjunctive mental health services for people who are the subjects of some type of court proceeding. In addition, staff assist clients to develop or maintain involvement in the American Indian community by taking them to Indian events and activities.

The center provides consultation for American Indian agencies regarding mental health issues and for non-Indian agencies regarding culturally-sensitive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of American Indian clients.

The Veterans And Loved Ones Recovery (VALOR) program provides veteran reintegration counseling and support for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) for veterans and their immediate families and dependents.
