Occupation Specific Job Training

The agency provides professional education and certification in facilitating adult and adolescent anger management groups. Services include Occupational/Professional Licensing and Certification in Anger Management and Occupation Specific Job Training for mental health occupations. There are no geographic restrictions.

The program, called Gaining Control of Ourselves, is designed for anger management training for facilitators of adult intervention groups as well as executive coaching clients. The program components include a workbook, DVD, interactive experiential learning and onlline support. The certification provided upon successful completion of the course is accepted by the State Department of Education for Adult Education Programs and appproved by the California State Board of Corrections and the California State Board of Behavioral Science. The agency provides materials for distance education on request.
