Public Clinics (Low Income)

The center provides health services for people of all ages who live in the South Los Angeles area. Services include Child Health and Disability Prevention program exams (CHDP), emergency dental care, general medical care, pediatrics, and women's health services. There are no geographic restrictions.
CHDP provides regular, preventive health assessments and developmental assessments for children from birth to age 21 who are Medi-Cal eligible and for children from birth through age 18 whose family income is less than 200% of the federal poverty level.
Emergency dental services include tooth extractions. The center does not provide routine dental care.
Pediatrics include well child visits, preventative care, physicals and immunizations.
Women's health services include primary prevention and cancer screening and prevention.
The health center also provides specialty care services that generally require a request from primary care providers.

Call to apply; an appointment is required. ID and proof of LA county residency is required.
Fees vary; Ability to Pay (ATP), Medi-Cal and LA Care are accepted. There are no fees for individuals who are eligible for the Family PACT program; proof of income is required.
