Tutoring Volunteer Opportunities (Online Volunteers)

The organization provides volunteer opportunities for adults, age 18 and older in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. Services include tutoring volunteer opportunities, including online opportunities, working with homeless youth from kindergarten to high school age.
The program requires that volunteers attend an orientation, provide two references and agree to a background check and to be fingerprinted. The volunteer must provide their own transportation to the tutoring site, such as a shelter, or to the Downtown Learning Center location.
' Online volunteers must have consistent internet access, webcam, microphone, headphones and a desk or laptop computer. Volunteers must also complete online tutor training.
