Domestic Violence Shelters

The agency provides shelter services to victims of domestic violence, including pregnant women, and their children. Shelter services are also provided to single women; single men and fathers are accepted on a case by case basis. Services include domestic violence shelters. There are no geographic restrictions.

Domestic violence shelter services are available to any victim who is experiencing intimate partner violence. Transitional shelter is available only to victims who are referred from an emergency domestic violence shelter. The maximum length of stay in a transitional shelter is 9 to 12 months. The program can accommodate women who use wheelchairs.

Also the domestic violence shelter may accept families or individuals with a pet, if space is available, call for space availability.

Secondary support services include TRO assistance, individual and group counseling, welfare advocacy, court accompaniment and transportation.
