Women's Support Groups

The agency provides family life education for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include court ordered parenting programs, parenting skills classes, family counseling, conjoint counseling, perinatal/postpartum depression counseling, pregnancy/childbirth support groups, developmental assessment for infants and toddlers age birth to 5, and women's support groups. There are no geographic restrictions.

Services include parenting skills classes based on the mindful parenting model. This is a developmentally based approach that emphasizes open communication between parent and child. Parents meet weekly for 8 weeks.

The agency provides counseling for couples, mother/child and family counseling for issues such as but not limited to post-partum depression, anxiety, loneliness, isolation, blended family stresses, concerns about your child's social and emotional development and financial problems.

It also provides mommy and me groups, pregnancy and childbirth groups, baby care and breastfeeding support groups, social skills groups, infant/toddler music classes, developmental assessment for infants and toddlers age birth to 5 years old and women's support groups.
