Health Screening/Diagnostic Services

\ The agency provides services for adults age 60 and older who live in the Wilmington, San Pedro, Harbor City and Los Angeles Strip areas. Services include congregate meals/nutrition sites, health screening/diagnostic services, home delivered meals, legal counseling, nutrition education, recreational activities/sports, senior centers, specialized information and referral, and welfare rights assistance. Age and geographic restrictions apply.

  Social services include legal counseling; help with Social Security, Medi-Cal and Medicare; health screening; and information and referral to community agencies for other needed services. The center also offers fitness and nutrition classes, and provides recreational and social activities including bingo, senior clubs and field trips.

  The program provides congregate and home-delivered meals programs for seniors age 60 and older, including low-sodium meals. Transportation is available to the site. The home-delivered meals program delivers a hot lunch five days a week to people who are unable to leave their homes.
