The child development center provides child care for families in the Los Angeles area. Services include a comprehensive day care program for children age one and a half to four. There are no geographic restrictions.
Occasionally speakers are invited to speak to parents about discipline, child abuse or other parenting issues. To be eligible the child's parent(s) must be working or studying. The center serves undocumented families and children who have physical, mental, or developmental disabilities who do not require specialized staff. The center has a daily capacity of 65 children.

Application Procedure
Call to apply. There is a waiting list. Children of families of protective services, the college community or who have the lowest income are accepted first. Upon being accepted, the child's parent must provide the center with an employment check stub and the child's immunization record, as well as all state forms.
Fees
The center has only sliding scale (funded) tuition arrangements. Sliding scale fees (funded) range from $42 to $373 per month per family; each family pays the same fee regardless of the number of children they have in the program.
