HUD Approved Counseling Agencies

The agency provides housing and homeownership services to people in Los Angeles County. Services include credit counseling, housing counseling for first time homeowners, a HUD-approved counseling program, mortgage delinquency, default counseling to prevent foreclosure and individual development accounts for individuals and families who live in SPA 6. There are geographic and income guidelines for some programs. The agency is a Community Development Corporation that funds housing development in the South Los Angeles area. It is also a HUD Certified Housing Counseling organization. The program conducts credit counseling and credit repair workshops and classes on mortgage delinquency and foreclosure prevention. They also sponsor first-time homeowner and homebuyer education programs for the community. The agency also assists low-income individuals and families who live in SPA 6 with the Individual Development Accounts (IDA) Savings Program.
