Tutors come on school nights to help children with homework. Participants must be residing in Glendale and homeless or chronically homeless (sleeping somewhere not meant for human habitation); proof of homelessness is required. Applicants are not housed on the same day; the shelter has a prioritization wait list of over 200 people and accepts people into the program based on their vulnerability.
