Dental Associations

The society is a professional membership organization that are members of the American Dental Association. Services include dental associations and dentist/dental support personnel complaints. Services are targeted to residents who live within the boundaries of Artesia, Avalon, Bellflower, Carson, Cerritos, Compton, Gardena, Harbor City, Hawaiian Gardens, La Mirada, Lakewood, Long Beach, Lomita, Los Alamitos, Norwalk, Paramount, Rancho Dominguez, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rossmoor, San Pedro, Santa Fe Springs, Seal Beach, Signal Hill, Surfside, Torrance, Whittier and Wilmington. Dentists who wish to be included in the referral list must be state-licensed, must be members of the American Dental Association; pay annual membership dues; and abide by the ethics and standards set by the society. The society also accepts and investigates complaints made against member dentists and take appropriate actions. The referral list is updated on a regular basis.
