Watershed Conservation

The agency provides environmental services to local, state and federal agencies, community organizations, service providers, educational institutions and interdisciplinary watershed groups in the Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura Counties. Services include watershed conservation with the National Resource Program. There are no geographic restrictions.

The National Resource Program works with groups and agencies to plan and implement educational and applied research programs to improve resource management. Areas of focus include increasing capacity of watershed approach to management, protecting and restoring aquatic habitat for endangered species and addressing the many factors that impact water quality in the urban-rural-wild landscape.
