Specialized Information and Referral (Pregnant Women)

The program provides family planning services for people in Los Angeles County. Services include helpline counseling, pregnancy testing and specialized information and referral for pregnant women and their partners. There are no geographic restrictions.
The program provides clinical pregnancy testing with results in minutes. A consultation is provided before the test. After the test, a limited OB ultrasound may be scheduled. The program also provides pregnancy and options education, decision counseling, prenatal vitamins, pregnancy and parenting classes and referrals for continued care. The program also provides referrals for adoption, housing, support groups, and other services.
The agency does not provide extended OB/GYN or prenatal care or STD/STI testing or treatment, nor do they perform or refer for abortion services, the abortion pill, emergency contraception, or birth control.
