Provider: NORTH HOLLYWOOD INTERFAITH FOOD PANTRY
The program provides ongoing emergency food primarily to people in North Hollywood, Studio City, Sun Valley and surrounding areas, including people who are homeless or undocumented. Depending on their circumstances, food may be available as often as every week. There are no geographic restrictions.
Groceries consist of USDA surplus, canned and packaged dried goods and bread. Baby food is sometimes available. The agency can provide groceries for people who do not have cooking facilities. The amount of food given does not vary with household size. Individuals can also receive dog and cat food for their pets.
The agency provides volunteer opportunities by training to assist staff at the pantry.
