Homeless Courts
Provider: CITY OF LOS ANGELES OFFICE OF THE CITY ATTORNEY - HOMELESS COURT
The office provides court-related services for adults age 18 and older, who are homeless or at risk of experiencing homelessness, in Los Angeles County. Services include homeless courts. There are no geographic restrictions.
The city attorney's Homeless Engagement and Response Team (HEART) administers the LA County Homeless Court Ticket Clinic Program. Ticket clinics work to dismiss infraction-level citations for individuals who are unhoused or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
Eligible tickets include traffic and pedestrian infractions; the program is unable to assist with parking or LA Metro tickets.
General Eligibility Requirements:
- Ticket must have occurred within Los Angeles county
- Individuals must be age 18 or older
- Individuals must have an open eligible felony or misdemeanor case

*Defense attorneys will be available to assist with clearing eligible bench warrants, expunge eligible convictions, resolve eligible misdemeanor cases, resolve eligible citations, resolve eligible outstanding fees and fines, and case related collection issues.
