This center provides transportation services for adults 62 years and older who live in Hawthorne and surrounding areas. Services include bus passes. Geographic restrictions apply.

The center sells Metro passes at a discounted rate for seniors age 60 and older who are residents of Hawthorne. Also Inglewood transportation serves residents of Hawthorne, Inglewood and Lennox.

Application Procedure
Walk in for service. Brochures/applications can be obtained at the Senior Center. An ID picture is required in order to acquire a TAP card. Seniors must apply for the card before the 10th of the month for the following month unless the 10th falls on a weekend, then they must apply earlier. Fee is $15 per month for unlimited Metro access. Money must be placed on the card through the Memorial Center which is attached to the Senior Center in order to be eligible for the $15/month fee.
