Youth Shelters
Provider: YOUTH EMERGING STRONGER
The agency provides shelter services for runaway and homeless youth ages 12 to 24 in the Hollywood area. Age restrictions apply; there are no geographic restrictions.
Taft House is a coed youth shelter for individuals ages 12 to 17. The maximum length of stay is 90 days.
Shelter and transitional living programs (TLP’s) are available for individuals ages 18 to 24. The average length of stay of 12 to 24 months and is determined on a case by case basis.
Services for residents include, but are not limited to, basic needs, case management, permanency planning, family reunification counseling, mental health therapy, education and employment readiness, tutoring and mentoring support life skills, and aftercare planning and support.
