Child Guidance (Families of Veterans)

The agency provides services for families of veterans in Los Angeles. Services are limited to children and adolescents of veterans or active military personnel. Services include adolescent/youth counseling, child guidance and individual counseling. There are no geographic restrictions.
The Military Families are Resilient (MFAR) program provides counseling services which are specialized for the unique issues associated with military families. Counseling services may be based at the clinic, field-based, or school based. Services include counseling for children and adolescents who are having trouble adjusting to having a parent deployed or home from deployment. General counseling services for children and adolescents and adults including spouses are also provided.
