The organization provides volunteer opportunities for interested people to help in both the organizing of and participation in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Services include fundraising volunteer opportunities and fundraising event volunteer opportunities. There are no geographic restrictions.
The Race For The Cure is an annual 5K or 10K event for families. Volunteers play an important role in the successful outcome of the race.
In addition to the race, there are many other volunteer opportunities in areas such as Special Events/Community Programs, Health Fairs, Speakers Bureau, Office Assistance and Advocacy. "I am the Cure" is a program in which participants, may be youth to adult, cheer on runners/walkers and present the breast cancer awareness mottoes in a variety of ways.
