State Prisons
The agency provides correctional services to people who live in Los Angeles County and throughout the State of California. Services include state prisons, ex-offender reentry programs, and prisoner locator services. There are no geographic restrictions.
State prison services include case management services, employment assistance, academic programs such as GED preparation and literacy programs, and drug and alcoholism treatment services for ex-inmates.
Services also include visiting hours for the general public. Inmates must send potential visitors a questionnaire that visitors return to the prison prior to visitation. Please contact the agency for more information.
