In Home Hospice Care

The agency provides end of life services for veterans in Los Angeles County. Services include in home hospice care, and veterans benefits assistance for families/friends of the terminally ill. There are no geographic restrictions. In home hospice services for adults with life-limiting illnesses include services in which there are medical components to the care. To qualify, the patient must have a prognosis of less than six months of life. The patient and family must agree to care that is palliative rather than curative. Veterans benefits assistance includes assistance obtaining military separation papers, VA pensions, Aid, and Attendance, burial benefits, survivors benefits for spouse and dependents, and death pensions including Aid and Attendence.
