Homebuyer/Home Purchase Counseling

The agency provides home buyer and home ownership education services to active and inactive military service members. Services include financial management workshops, home buyer/home purchase counseling, HUD approved counseling agencies and home maintenance and minor repair grants/loans. There are no geographic restrictions.
As a HUD-approved housing counseling agency, the organization provides housing counseling. All HomeStrong USA counselors are USA Cares Certified Military Housing Specialists.
The HomeStrong's Heroes Home Repair Program provides grants to veterans and active duty military families. Some eligibility requirements include: individuals must own and occupy the home as a primary residence; meet program income limits; and have a documented, eligible hardship. The property must be located in Los Angeles County, San Bernardino County, South Orange County or Riverside County.
