General Paratransit/Community Ride Programs

The city provides transportation services for individuals age 55 and older and people with disabilities who are residents of the city of La Puente. Service includes community dial-a-ride and discount transit passes. Geographic restrictions apply.
The Dial-A-Ride service provides paratransit for older adults, age 55 and older, and for disabled people of any age. The program provides rides to any destination within the City limits and to medical and dental appointments up to 5 miles outside of the City limits. Service is curb-to-curb. All vans are wheelchair accessible. Individuals must be registered to qualify for services.
Discount bus passes are available for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Individuals must be registered to qualify for services.
