Crime Investigation (Abused Children)

The SCAN (Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect) program provides child abuse services in the North County region of Los Angeles County. Services include crime investigation of child abuse and neglect and medical child abuse evaluations. The center accepts referrals from DCFS, the Sheriff's Office and private doctors. Medical and pediatric specialists document evidence of suspected child abuse and neglect. The center is affiliated with LAC USC SCAN program.
