Street Construction/Repair

This is the government office for the city of Pico Rivera. Services include animal licenses, election information, city information lines, business licensing, building and occupancy inspections, a housing authority, permits, illegal dumping reporting, city maintenance and planning, zoning, trash/garbage pickup and large item trash/garbage pickup. Geographic restrictions apply for some services; business-related services are provided only for businesses located in Pico Rivera.

The city provides building permits, electrical permits, elevator permits, mechanical permits and plumbing permits for any contracted work done within city limits. It also operates a 24-hour recorded information line providing general information on over 150 city categories, departments, events and services.

The city also provides dog licenses at City Hall.

City maintenance includes street maintenance, street construction/repair, street lighting maintenance and street cleaning. Residential and commercial trash/garbage pickup is provided by NASA Services. They provide solid waste collection, environmental and recycling programs and roll-off bins and bulky item pickup.
