Special Education Advocacy

The group provides legal services for children and youth ages three to 22, with disabilities and health conditions in Los Angeles County. Services include legal representation and special education advocacy. There are no geographic restrictions.
Assistance is available with Individualized Education Plans (IEP), due process hearings and mediations. Staff assess each situation on a case by case basis; not all cases are selected for representation.

Call to apply; a referral from the Parents as Partners program is required.
Fees
There are no fees for the initial consultation, or for cases selected for representation. Various fixed fees apply for other general services.
