Offender Registries/Community Notification
The program provides victim notification and restitution services for victims, witnesses, and parents or guardians of minor victims of crime by inmates of the state prison system. The program also allows victims to have input to the conditions of parole and Board of Prison Terms hearings.
The notification program sends notice of an inmate's pending release from state prison, parole hearing, or death.
The restitution program reimburses the victim for lost wages or support, medical costs, psychological counseling expenses and other crime-related costs. LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH The toll free phone number has access to translation services in any language. The form is available in English only.

The application form for notification or restitution services is available online at www.corr.ca.gov/victimservices/Restitution/application.asp/; the form can also be requested by calling the designated Victim Notification hotline. The forms can also be obtained from any local Victim Witness Assistance Center (see the separate entries).
