Runaway/Homeless Youth Helplines (Sex Trade Workers)
Provider: CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT INC
The program provides 24-hour runaway services for youth 11 to 17 years who are involved in prostitution or human trafficking nationwide. Services include a nationwide toll free hotline which provides crisis counseling, intake for the agency's shelter and case management. Hotline staff work closely with law enforcement agencies. Age restrictions apply; there are no geographic restrictions.
Secondary services include tutoring, mental health services, psychiatric evaluations, psychotropic medications, application for social security/disability, placement in independent living programs, transitional housing, maternity homes, or substance abuse programs.
