Health Insurance Information/Counseling

The agency provides health services for people of all ages who live in Long Beach and the surrounding communities, including low-income individuals and people who are homeless. Services include affordable care act information/counseling, community clinics, contraception, general medical care, general physical examinations, breast examination, general health education programs, pap tests, pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted disease screening, sexually transmitted disease treatment and tuberculosis screening. Bus fare may be available for existing patients in need of transportation. There are no geographic restrictions.
Certified Enrollment Counselors are available to answer questions and help individuals enroll in the Covered California health insurance program.

Call or walk in for an appointment. ID and proof of income (income tax or pay stub) are required.
Fees
Fees are on a sliding scale. Medi-Cal, Medicare, PPO's and HMO's are accepted.
