Senior Ride Programs
Provider: CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD
The city provides transportation services for city residents who are 62 years or older or residents any age with disabilities. Services disability related transportation, discount transit passes, local bus service and senior ride programs. There are geographic restrictions.
Cityline is a local fixed route minibus which allows all individuals to ride for free and to travel to the grocery store, library, post office, and Cedars Sinai.
Dial-a-ride is a curb-to-curb service which provides on-demand transportation for seniors and people with disabilities to locations in the city and to various medical facilities.
The taxi coupon program provides vouchers for use with local City taxis for seniors and people with disabilities.
Metro bus pass subsidies are available for seniors age 62 and older and people with disabilities.
Access Services provide curb-to-curb transportation to disabled individuals who are not able to travel without physical accommodations.

Application Procedure
Call for information or to apply for service. To qualify for Dial-a-Ride services, individuals must show proof of residence and disability if applicable. Medical appointments may be made up to two weeks in advance. In order to qualify for the bus pas subsidy, individuals must show proof of age, residence and must hold a Metro Reduced Fare TAP card.
Fees
There are no fees for most services, Dial-a-Ride services are free. There are fixed fees for various transportation services; call for detailed information.
Service hours
Call to schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm; Service available Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm. Medical appointments may be made up to 2 weeks in advance.
