Street/Sidewalk Use Permits

The county provides business services for restaurants in Los Angeles county. Services include street/sidewalk use permits. Services are restricted to businesses located in the unincorporated county area.
Outdoor dining permits are available for private walkways, private parking facilities and the county's road right of way (sidewalks, metered or unmetered parking spaces, and alleys). Restaurants may also request to designate a curbside area for food pickup. All existing permits issued under the Covid-19 Temporary Outdoor Dining Program will be extended to July 1st, 2026.
