Juvenile Justice Courts

This is a juvenile delinquency court that has jurisdiction over cases involving minors age 18 and younger who have broken the law; this branch serves the Pomona Valley and the San Gabriel Valley east of El Monte. Services include the sealing of juvenile records; processing appeals and incoming- and outgoing- inter-county juvenile case transfers; maintenance of psychotropic drug information and case log numbers; evaluating rehearing determinations and processing California Youth Authority (CYA) case processing. There are no geographic restrictions; however, the court site that has jurisdiction over a particular case may depend upon where the minor lives, where the minor was arrested, or where the offense was committed.
