Juvenile Justice Courts
Provider: LOS ANGELES COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT - EAST DISTRICT - POMONA COURTHOUSE SOUTH
This is a juvenile delinquency court that has jurisdiction over cases involving minors age 18 and younger who have broken the law; this branch serves the Pomona Valley and the San Gabriel Valley east of El Monte. Services include the sealing of juvenile records; processing appeals and incoming- and outgoing- inter-county juvenile case transfers; maintenance of psychotropic drug information and case log numbers; evaluating rehearing determinations and processing California Youth Authority (CYA) case processing. There are no geographic restrictions; however, the court site that has jurisdiction over a particular case may depend upon where the minor lives, where the minor was arrested, or where the offense was committed.

There are no fees for court services; however, parents or guardians of minors who are brought to court may be held responsible, if they are able, for the cost of legal services, probation supervision, and or placement for the minor.
