Community College Districts

This is a two-year public community college which provides academic and vocational courses for residents of Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Inglewood, El Segundo, Lawndale, Lennox, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, and Torrance.

The academic curriculum prepares the student for junior standing in a four-year college or university. Trade preparatory classes equip the student with the basic skills and knowledge required for employment in trade or industrial occupations. The college also provides trade extension classes which improve or enhance students' skills in a current occupation or prepare them for promotion or advancement.

The supportive services available to all students include counseling and guidance, housing assistance, health services, a job placement office, and a center for students who have disabilities.
