Congregate Meals/Nutrition Sites (Older Adults)

The center provides services for older adults who live in Rosemead and the surrounding area. Services include a hot lunch program. Services are restricted to Rosemead and the surrounding area residents.

The center is a senior nutrition site which serves lunch five days per week for people age 60 and older.

In addition, the center offers a number of services for seniors age 60 and older which are provided by other agencies. Younger people who want to participate are not turned away. These services include blood pressure and monthly discount bus passes for seniors 62 and older for Rosemead residents.

Application Procedure
Call or walk in for information; seniors who wish to participate in the congregate meal call one week in advance to make reservations.
Fees
The suggested donation for the congregate meal is $1.25 per meal for Rosemead residents, $3.25 per meal for non-residents, and $4.25 for caregivers. No one is turned away due to an inability to pay.
